《狂野街頭》是由知名导演Barry Shear 执导的一部恐怖片,謝利·溫特斯 克裏斯托弗·瓊斯 黛安·瓦西 米莉· 等倾情出演,该片讲述了:Deserves recognitio n as a n interesting misunderstanding of the hallucination generation, 20 January 2007 Author: TimothyFarrell from Worcest er, MA "Wild in the Streets" ; comes from the same school of film making t hat spawne d other attempts t o connect to the countercul ture such a s "Skidoo" and "Can dy". The difference between th is an d th e aforementioned fil ms is tha t &q uot;Wild in the St reets&q uot; is reasonably clever and well-mad e. It i sn't sympatheti c to th e coun terculture and will lik ely of fend those with fond memo ries of t he time. Sur prisingly , it was a big hit when rel eased and appealed to the y outh whom it r idiculed so much. Unli ke & quot; The Trip" and "Psych-O ut" (two othe r AIP films), i ts not an accurate re presentation of the m ovemen t at all. However it does work as social satire. T he direction by Barry Shear is good and makes innovative use of split scree n photog raphy . Plus, he keeps every thing moving at a quick pace . In its fu nny momen ts, the fi lm works well. In its attempts at drama , its hel plessly dated and jus t as funny as th e humorou s moments. Chris topher J ones underplays his role and Shelly Wi nters overacts. Hal Holbrook offers the best performance and Diane Varsi achieves the righ t note of "groovine ss". The sc ript by Robert Thom has its moments, es pecially th e ending (ea sily the most ingenio us part of the film). &q uot;Wild in the Streets" isn 39;t perfe ct, but deserves r ecognition as an i nterestin g misunde rstandin g of the h allucination generat ion. Those into this kind of kit sch w ill en joy it the most. I 39;d ra ther w atch &q uot;The Trip&quo t; or "Psych-Out" however.
