《體面的人》是由知名导演Vanessa Lapa 执导的一部紀錄片，未知等倾情出演，该片讲述了：　　O n 6 May 1945, soldi ers of  the 88th US  Infantr y Div ision occu pied the Himmlers’ family ho me in Gmund on Lake Teger nsee where they disco vered hundreds of  priva te lett ers, docu ment   s, journ  als  and photographs. The film makes use of these materials and copio us archive footage to sketch t he biography of SS commander  Heinrich Himmler who committe d suicide at  the end of May 1945 by taking a cyanid e capsule. H ow did this nat ionalistic lower-middle-class man  become H  itler’s henchman r espo nsible for developing and  executing the strategies that led to the m urder   of mill ions of Jews, homos exua ls, Communists  and Romany people? Wh ere did his ideology  ori ginat e? How did he see him self and how was h e perceived in private by his wife Margarete,  his daughter Gudrun and hi s mistress Hedwig?  How cou  ld the man who  often referred to so-cal  led German v irtues such as or der,  decency and g  oodness also write home in the mi  dst of the war and Holocaust: ‘I a m well in spite of my heavy workload’?
