《盲目的丈夫們》是由知名导演埃裏克·馮·施特羅海姆 执导的一部愛情片,薩姆·德·格拉斯 Francelia Billin 等倾情出演,该片讲述了: T wo differenc es between thi s Aus trian ve rsion an d the g enerally available Amer ican versi on are immediately o bvious: they differ both in their length and i n the language of the in tertitles. The Ame rican versio n is o nly 1,883 metres long - at 18 frames per second a difference of some 7 minutes to the Austrian versio n with 2, 045 met res. Whereas we o rigi nall y presum ed only a n egligible diffe rence, resulting from the vary ing length of the intertitle s, a direct comparison has neve rtheless shown that the Au strian v ersion differs f rom th e Americ an version both in the montage and in the dur ation of individual scenes. Yet h ow could it hap pen that th e later regional distribution of a canonical US silen t film wa s longer th an the "original version& quot;? Th e prevalent American v ersion of Blin d Husband s doe s not correspond t o the version shown a t the premi ere of 1919. This little-know n fact was alre ady publish ed by Richard Koszarski in 1983. The film was re-released by Univer sal Pictur es in 1924, in a ver sion th at was 1,365 feet (416 m etres) short er. At 18 frame s per second , this am ounts to a time differe nce of 20 minutes! &qu ot;Titles were altered, s nippets of action rem oved and at least one major scen e taken out entirely, wher e von Steuben and Margar et vi sit a sm all local chap el." (Koszarski) Fro m the present state of resea rch we can assume that all the kn own American cop ies o f the film d erive from this shortened re-release version, a c opy of which Universal donate d to the Mu seum of Modern Art in 1941. According to Koszar ski the original negative o f th e fi lm was destroyed sometime between 1956 and 19 61 and has therefore be en irretrievably lost. This in formation c asts an interesting light on th e Austri an version, whic h can be dated to the period between the summer of 1921 and the win ter of 1922. Furthermore, the copy is so me 200 metres longer than the US v ersion of 1924. If one follo ws the d etails given by Richard Koszarski and Arthur Lenn ig, th is means th at, as far as both its date and i ts lengt h are concerned, the Austrian version lies almost exactly in the middle between the (lost) version shown at t he premiere a nd the re-released one.A large part of t he additio nal length of the film can be traced to cuts that were ma de to th e 19 24 version in almost every shot. Koszarski describes how the beginning and the end o f scenes were trimme d, in ord er to " speed up&qu ot; the film. However, mor e excit ing was the discovery that the Aus tria n version conta ins shots that are missing in the American one - shots/counter shots , intertitles - and further more shows d ifferenc es in its m onta ge (i.e. the placing of the individual sh ots wi thin a sequence). All this indicates that Die Rache der Berge constitutes the oldest and most completely preserved material of the f ilm. 陆灵蹊眨了眨眼,很干脆地把当初在奇怪 岛石殿抢来的 黑漆漆大鼎放到院中,“老祖,您看 它到仙级了吗 ?我筑基中期就得到它了, 一直想打开它,可是,结丹的时 候打不开 ,元婴以后还是打不开。到了化神,我一直忙,就把它忘了,您帮我瞅瞅,若是能用您就用。”
