Beating one's wife seems  to be ingrained in ma ny men9;s mindsets as the  appropriate  behaviour for a strong male, b ut t  he consequence s are miser y for the wife and children,  and of ten a b roken, unhapp y home. The co ncept of  domesti c vi olence is b ased on the notion  of patriarchy, which needs to  be converted into equality.　　Ep08:T oxic Food - P  oison On  Our Plate?　　For  decad  es o ur food and  water have   bee n conta minated by powerful, harm ful pesticides which have been p romoted as necessa ry for better agricultura l output. But the re  ality  is t hat  we d on&#39;t need pestic ides for better yi eld, and their us   e is not onl y deadly for health but results  in expensive farming method s. The so lution is to adopt organic fa rming, which is possib  le and pr  ofitable,  as the state of Si kkim has  shown.　 　Ep09:Alcohol Abuse - Think Before You Drink　　Alcohol cons umption i s associated with having  fun an d enjo ying life. But exc essive, i rresponsible drink ing takes away that ve ry life itself. Man y alcohol addi cts have c limbe d back to  normal li fe, pro ving that it is possible  to live happily without   alcohol. C  ountle ss people have to live in degrading  conditions, child ren a re unable to  go to sch ool, em ployment avenues are closed, and even education do es not open bigoted  minds.　　Ep 11:O ld Age -- Sunset Years, Sunshin e Life 　　Our parents are t he ones who have bro ught  us up and mad e us what we are. At lea st out o f consideration for th at much,  we should be  good and kind towards t hem. But countless people a ll over India don9;t thin k so, g oing by the nu mber s of abandoned o ld peo ple taken  in at old age homes .
